The husband of the late cinematographer, who was tragically accidentally shot and killed by Alec Baldwin with a prop gun on the set of upcoming film Rust, spoke out in an interview with Insider on Friday (October 21).

“I don’t think there are words to communicate the situation,” Matthew said in the brief interview.
“I am not going to be able to comment about the facts or the process of what we’re going through right now, but I appreciate that everyone has been very sympathetic,” he continued.
“I think that we will need a little bit of time before we can really encapsulate her life in a way that is easy to communicate.”
At the same time, Alec Baldwin has also broken his silence with his first words shared after the horrible accident.
