Alec Baldwin, who shot the gun that killed Halyna, had been prepping for a scene where he drew and fired a gun and was demonstrating it.
Alec apparently turned to Souza and said (via the LA Times) “So I guess I’m gonna take this out, pull it, and go, ‘Bang!’”
As the gun fired, Alec reportedly responded, “What the f**k just happened?”
Halyna reportedly ended up in electrician Serge Svetnoy‘s arms as she was hit and director Joel Souza apparently cried out, “What the f— was that? That burns!”
“What the f**k just happened?” Alec apparently repeated again.
Someone screamed for a medic as Halyna apparently said, “I can’t feel my legs.”
One crew members apparently told Halyna, “Oh, that was no good,” and she apparently responded, “No. That was no good. That was no good at all.”
Last month, Alec discharged a prop gun on the set of his movie Rust that took the life of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. It also injured director Joel Souza, who has since been released from the hospital.
