Gwen Stefani Reveals the Reason She Cancelled Four Shows Back in 2020

Gwen Stefani is opening up about her health.

The 52-year-old “Cool” singer-songwriter returned to the stage for her Just a Girl residency at Zappos Theater on Friday (October 22) in Las Vegas.

At one point during the show, Gwen opened up about her excitement to see her fans, and revealed the reason she had to scrap some of her February dates of the residency last year.

“I would literally take people up here and make out with you, but…I gotta make it through the next eight shows,” she told the crowd of her string of shows through November 6.

“I was the first one to have COVID, in case you wondered. I was in Vegas. Do you remember when I cancelled those four shows?” she went on to say, referring to a string of dates between February 7 to February 14 in 2020 that she had to cancel.

“Just because I can’t touch you, I’m still breathing your air right now, so that’s the risk that I’m taking because I love you guys,” she went on to say.
