The first look at Gwendoline Christie in the upcoming Netflix series The Sandman has been revealed!
The former Game of Thrones star will be playing Lucifer in the upcoming series, based on the comic book series of the same name by Neil Gaiman.
Netflix says that the series is a “rich blend of modern myth and dark fantasy in which contemporary fiction, historical drama and legend are seamlessly interwoven.”
The Sandman “follows the people and places affected by Morpheus (Tom Sturridge), the Dream King, as he mends the cosmic — and human — mistakes he’s made during his vast existence.”
Lots of great actors will be starring in the upcoming series, which does not yet have a release date.
