The Kelly Clarkson Show host treated viewers to her cover of Billie Eilish‘s fiery title track from her latest album, “Happier Than Ever,” on Thursday (September 30).

As always, Kelly delivered an incredible rendition of the song, with many people on social media commenting on the song’s lyrical themes and its relation to her own personal life drama.
She also changed the line “You make me hate this city” to “I get it, you hate this city.”
If you didn’t know, Kelly Clarkson was recently declared legally single again amid her divorce proceedings with ex Brandon Blackstock.
