Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is opening up.
Back in May, the 35-year-old reality TV star announced that he would be “stepping away” from Jersey Shore: Family Vacation in order to seek medical treatment for mental health issues.
In an interview with TMZ on Thursday (August 26), Ronnie revealed that he was planning on coming back to the hit MTV show and gave an update on his sobriety.

“I feel great. Four months sober, I quit drinking. Got engaged, full-time father, you know, living a good life,” he told the outlet.
Ronnie got engaged to his girlfriend Saffire Matos earlier this summer.
“I stepped away [from Jersey Shore] to deal with my mental health, be a father to my child, be a fiancé to my woman. I’ll be back and, you know, all the fans love me and I love them too so I’m gonna give them what they want and I’ll see them soon,” he continued.
He went on to say that he’s stayed in touch with the producers on the show, adding that he’s “very close” with them and that his time on Jersey Shore is “definitely not over.”
