Rachel Maddow is staying with MSNBC.
According to a new report from Variety, the 48-year-old news anchor has opted to stay with the network after negotiating a new deal that will keep her at the outlet beyond 2022.
It was previously reported earlier this month that she had been considering leaving the network in 2022 at the end of her contract.

Variety writes that Rachel had been contemplating creating her own intendent content ventures.
As part of her new “multi-year” pact, she will be able to develop other projects in partnership with NBCUniversal.
Some sources who spoke with the outlet suggested that the anchor may decide to pull back from the give days a week she spends on the program.
