New salary data from President Joe Biden‘s White House administration was released on Thursday (July 1), as has been customary for years.

The data confirms that Biden‘s White House has the smallest gender pay gap since numbers were first tracked in 1995, with women making .99 cents for every $1 made by men, via 19th News.
The average pay gap in the country is .82 cents for women to every dollar made by a man, and larger for women of color.
Women earned .69 cents to men’s $1 in 2020, under former President Donald Trump, according to the data.
The average salary for women in the White House today is $93,752, and $94,639 for men. Women make up approximately 60% of the staff, and 56% of senior staff.
Jen Psaki, Biden White House press secretary, is one of seven women in the upper ranks of the communications team. She earns $180,000 per year in her role, making her one of the highest paid employees in the administration.
Many of the top aides all earn the same amount, including Domestic Policy Advisor Susan Rice and chief of staff Ron Klain, all also earning annual salaries of $180,000.
Molly Groom, policy adviser for immigration, makes $185,656.
