Team Australia's Ariarne Titmus Swim Coach Goes Wild After She Wins Gold In 400m Freestyle

Dean Boxall completely lost it as Ariarne Titmus won the 400m Freestyle Final during the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan on Monday (July 26).

Ariarne, 20, edged out Team USA’s Katie Ledecky to pick up the gold medal in the event and Dean could not contain his excitement.

In the video, Dean excitedly pulls off his mask and yells in celebration, as well as a few hip thrusts in excitement.

“I think I went outside of my body,” he told Sports Illustrated. “I just lost it.”

Dean added, “I can’t help it. believe in my athletes. It’s very simple, when the athletes leave the pool deck…they begin the recovery process and they switch off. I go home and try to find a way for them to get better. I don’t turn it off. That’s probably why I let it out.”

Ariarne will compete in three more events: the 200 and 1,500-meter freestyles and the 800-meter relay.
