Mark Ronson is opening up about working with Amy Winehouse.
The 45-year-old music producer collaborated with the singer on her album Back to Black in 2006.
In an interview with The Guardian on Monday (July 26), he expressed regret over the way he behaved around her while working on the album.

Mark told the outlet they spent only one week together making her record and added that he and Amy had “ups and downs” during the recording process.
“That connection happened like that,” he said. “It was an instant familiarity. I just loved being in her company, her presence. She was just so funny.”
“I don’t know if I fully loved the way that I behaved around her,” Mark shared. “When she was going through addiction, I wish I’d been a little bit more upfront or confrontational about it.”
He continued, “But I just was like, ‘Ah, she’ll sort it out — she did it already once.’ So, whatever.”
The producer also reflected on the way Amy was hounded by the media, recalling the way she would treat paparazzi who camped outside her home.
“She would wave to them, occasionally bring them out food. At first I was like, ‘This is just like a pantomime; you both understand what this is.’ Then I was like, ‘No: this is f–king horrible and disgusting.’ I know people have to make a living — but I hated a lot of those people,” he said.
Last month, Amy‘s close friend Tyler James looked back at his friendship with the singer in a candid interview.
