There was a huge backlash in the past several weeks over something the Palace did – or rather, failed to do.
The Palace never updated the royal line of succession after the birth of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s daughter Lilibet. Lilibet was born on June 4, 2021.

Now, the royal line of succession has been officially updated.
Lilibet is now listed as 8th in line to the royal throne behind Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, Prince Harry, and her brother Archie.
