Daniel Craig is opening up about his final turn as James Bond.
The 53-year-old actor got candid in an interview with Total Film.
During the chat, he spoke about how he previously decided that 2015′s Spectre would be his final time playing 007.
“I thought I probably was physically not capable of doing another. For me, it was very cut and dried that I wasn’t coming back,” he said.
However, there was a dangling plot point from 2006′s Casino Royale that made him reconsider, and change his mind.

“We started talking about it and I went, ‘There might be a story we need to finish here — something we started in Casino [Royale]. Something to do with Vesper [Eva Green’s character], and Spectre, and something that was connected, in a way.’ It started to formulate. And I thought, ‘Here we go,” he teased.
He said the forthcoming No Time To Die, out in October, has a sense of “finality to it.”
“In terms of closing the story, the circle is complete now. It feels emotionally satisfying.”
At the same time, Daniel Craig‘s pay for Knives Out was revealed – and it’s huge!
