Grammy-winning singer B.J. Thomas has sadly passed away.
B.J.‘s publicist confirmed in a statement with the Associated Press that the singer died at his home in Arlington, Texas on Saturday (May 29) from complication of lung cancer. He was 78-years-old.
B.J. announced back in March that he had recently been diagnosed with stage four cancer.
He was a five-time Grammy winner with hit songs like “I Just Can’t Help Believing,” “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head” and “Hooked on a Feeling.”
In 2013, B.J.‘s “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head” was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
B.J. is survived by his wife Gloria Richardson and their three daughters: Paige, Erin, and Nora.
Our thoughts are with B.J.‘s loved ones during this difficult time.
We have sadly lost all of these stars in 2021.
