David Beckham and Victoria Beckham reportedly contracted coronavirus after attending a swanky party in Los Angeles.
Close relatives and staff members affiliated with the couple also apparently caught the virus in what was described as a "nightmare scenario", according to The Sun.
"David was on duty for his club Inter Miami, and Victoria and the family flew down to support him," a source told the publication.
"They attended a couple of swanky networking events as David had promotional duties, and were shaking hands and kissing fans and various club dignitaries.
"They then flew back to London, and were whisked straight to their Cotswolds mansion."
The incident is believed to have occurred on March 1, when David's Inter Miami side played a game away at Los Angeles FC.
Five days later, the family celebrated Brooklyn Beckham's 21st birthday with a lavish party.

"David started to feel ill and then Victoria developed a sore throat. At the same time, several of their team including drivers, bodyguards and assistants fell ill — a couple of them very badly so," the source said.
"Victoria really panicked and made the whole family quarantine rigidly for more than two weeks."
The family is said to have kept their reported illness a secret from fans and continued to post regular updates to their social media channels from their Cotswold mansion.
It's believed the couple have reportedly made a full recovery from the disease and been in close communication with their staff to ensure they're healthy.
