Sandra Bullock is putting any rumors she’ll be appearing in the new Spider-Man movie to rest.
During Monday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Bird Box actress denied any involvement in the upcoming Marvel movie Spider-Man: No Way Home and added that it’s unlikely she’ll be joining the MCU anytime soon.

“You know what? If that were a rumor that my son had heard, do you know how much I would get him to do in the house? I would be so successful in my requests,” Sandra joked. The actress is a mom to Louis, 11, and Laila, 9.
When Jimmy followed up, she replied: “Who did they say I was going to be, like his grandmother or something?”
She then asked who she was rumored to be playing, leading Jimmy to explain that it was said she had taken on the role of Madame Web, a villain with psychic powers.
“Why was I not hired for this? What happened to the talks?” Sandra quipped.
Jimmy then asked directly if she’d been “approached” by Marvel about being in a movie.
“I don’t think I’m Marvel material,” she said and added, “I’ve never been approached by Marvel.”
Jimmy said it’s not infrequent that actors “lie” to him about whether they’ve taken on rumored roles, to which Sandra joked, “I understand why people lie to you, but I have never been approached, ever.”
She then shared, “I was approached for something that wasn’t Marvel, but my son told me not to do it. It was kind of not in the place Louis felt I should be. And he was actually right, I saw it when it came out and I went, ‘Oof, that’s unfortunate.’”
Earlier this week, Sandra revealed if she had ever dated Keanu Reeves. Check it out!
