Julianne Hough To Guest Judge in Place of Brother Derek Hough on 'DWTS' Finale

Julianne Hough is expected to be stepping in for her quarantined brother Derek for the finale of Dancing With The Stars tonight.

Entertainment Tonight is reporting that the 33-year-old entertainer, who won two mirrored ball trophies in the past, and has also been a judge on the show, will return to sit in for her brother, Derek.

Last week, it was revealed that Derek had been diagnosed with a breakthrough COVID-19 case and was in quarantine. His status at the time for the finale was up in the air.

Derek will still appear on the finale, in a pre-taped segment as well as virtually.

“It’s always nice to have old contestants or old pros come back on our show and judge, so she is amazing and she knows what to look for,” pro Cheryl Burke shared with the outlet about the judge change. “She’s a great replacement for Derek, so I’m really excited.”

The celeb finalists performing tonight include JoJo Siwa, Amanda Kloots, Cody Rigsby, and Iman Shumpert.
