Kim Kardashian is getting ready for her first time hosting Saturday Night Live.
A first look at the 40-year-old reality star’s appearance dropped on Friday (October 8) and in the clip, she introduced herself by her married name amid her split from Kanye West.

Kim is seen discussing her hosting gig with musical guest Halsey and SNL cast member Cecily Strong.
“Hi, I’m Kim Kardashian West and I’m hosting SNL this week with Halsey,” she said as Cecily asked her questions about her sketch comedy debut.
She continued, “I don’t have to write sketches, do I? [Or] memorize lines?”
“No, there are cue cards,” Halsey replied.
“Everyone else won’t look as good as me, will they?” Kim asked, to which Cecily assured, “No, absolutely not.”
“This is so easy,” Kim joked.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Kanye was helping Kim ahead of her SNL debut. “She’s both nervous and thrilled,” a source said. “It’s a huge deal for her. She takes the hosting gig very seriously.”
“[Kanye's] giving her advice,” the source continued. “She feels a lot of pressure. She wants to wow the audience.”
Kim’s episode of Saturday Night Live airs on NBC Saturday, October 9, at 11:30 p.m. ET.
