Alex Rodriguez is poking fun at himself.
The 46-year-old former MLB player joked about his relationship status on Thursday night (October 7) while covering the American League Division Series alongside Kevin Burkhardt, Frank Thomas and David Ortiz on Fox News.
The group showed several clips of Tampa Bay Rays players eating popcorn in the dugout during a game against the Red Sox, along with a video from 2010 of Alex eating some popcorn with his then-girl Cameron Diaz.

“It’s not the first time people had been eating popcorn in the middle of the game,” Kevin said as a clip of Alex being fed popcorn by Cameron during the Super Bowl XLV.
Alex smiled and replied, “KB, that’s maybe why I’m single.”
Cameron and Alex dated on and off for a year before splitting in 2011. He was then linked to tech CEO Anne Wojcicki and Jennifer Lopez.
He and Jennifer were engaged in March of 2019 after two years of dating, but announced their breakup in April of this year.
A few months ago, Alex reflected on his split from Jennifer and shared how he’s moving forward after the breakup.
