There is some confusion happening live at The View.
Co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro both left the stage as Vice President Kamala Harris was waiting to attend the show in what was billed to be her first in-studio appearance, Deadline reported Friday (September 24).

Upon returning from commercial break, Joy signaled and said: “Can someone please apprise me of the situation?” as someone off-camera told Sunny and Ana to step away from the stage. Joy started to introduce Kamala, then was told not to, and the show went to another break before she had to explain.
The decision, as it turns out, was to have the Vice President appear remotely.
“Sunny and Ana apparently tested positive for COVID. No matter how hard we try these things happen. They probably have a breakthrough case. They will be OK I am sure because they are both vaccinated,” said co-host Joy Behar as it was happening.
“Sunny [Hostin] and Ana [Navarro] are strong women and I know they’re fine, but it really also does speak to the fact that they’re vaccinated and vaccines really make all the difference because otherwise we would be concerned about hospitalization and worse,” the Vice President said.
At the same time, it was just revealed that one co-host inked a 4-year deal to stay on the show.
