Dan Levy is taking on an exciting deal at Netflix!
The 38-year-old Schitt’s Creek creator has signed a first look feature deal and overall one in scripted content, Deadline reports.

According to the outlet, Dan will begin with an original untitled romantic comedy that he’ll direct, write, produce and star in.
His work in television will begin in July 2022 when his current three-year overall deal with ABC Signature ends. He currently has three live-action projects in the works at ABC, as well as an animated comedy Standing By which has a presentation order at Hulu.
“Netflix offered Schitt’s Creek a second home at just the right time and opened the doors to a whole new audience for us,” Dan said in a statement. “Watching the show thrive there has only enhanced my excitement about continuing to tell specific, meaningful stories with them in both tv and feature film. A full circle moment.”
