So many stars stepped out for a screening of Dear Evan Hansen!
Ben Platt, Amandla Stenberg, Julianne Moore, Nik Dodani, as well as the film’s director Stephen Chbosky and writer Steven Levensen, joined Katie Couric for a discussion about the movie on Tuesday (September 14) in New York City.

The movie musical is based on the 2016 Tony-winning Broadway show and follows Ben as Evan, an anxious, isolated high schooler aching for understanding and belonging amid the chaos and cruelty of the social-media age. It’s set to hit theaters on September 24.
Also spotted at the event were Giancarlo Esposito, Vlada Roslyakova, Dale Moss, Mariah Strongin, Christian Seidel, Celia Watson, Lois Smith, Carla Gugino and Clara McGregor.
