Barry Keoghan, who is set to star in Marvel‘s The Eternals, was allegedly the victim of an assault in Ireland.
The 28-year-old actor was reportedly found outside of a hotel with a facial injury and was taken to Galway University Hospital in the early morning hours of Sunday (August 22).
Irish newspaper Sunday World says he was rushed to the hospital by an ambulance, treated, and later released.
“An ambulance was also called and a man in his 20s was treated for non life-threatening injuries. Enquiries are ongoing. No arrests have been made,” a spokesperson said.
Barry is also going to star in 2022′s The Batman as Officer Stanley Merkel. Watch the trailer for The Eternals.
