Lizzo Shoots Her Shot with Drake, Explains Why She Name Dropped Him in 'Rumors'

It seems Lizzo is ready to move on from her Chris Evans crush and she’s now shooting her shot with Drake!

The 33-year-old Grammy-winning entertainer name-dropped the rapper in her new song “Rumors,” in which she addressed the rumors that she has slept with Drake.

“No, I ain’t fu**ed Drake yet,” she raps on the song.

Lizzo explained the lyrics in a new interview with Apple Music and she later took to Twitter to shoot her shot with Drake.

After the song dropped on Friday (August 13), Lizzo tweeted, “Hey big head @Drake.”

While speaking with Zane Lowe for her Apple Music interview, Lizzo talked about name-dropping Drake on the song. She said, “I just thought it would be so funny to say. I have a small relationship with him. He’s very cool.”

Lizzo also talked about how men are often name-dropping women in their songs, so she turned the tables on them. She said, “I just feel like women, there’s so many times where girls’ names get dropped in songs because they’re fine.”
