A spokesperson for Lea confirmed that she had tested positive despite being vaccinated and asymptomatic. She will reportedly stay in quarantine until her doctors think it’s safe for her to travel to the film festival.

According to the outlet, Lea is currently getting tested every day and waiting for negative results for two days in a row in order to make it to Cannes for the debut of Wes Anderson‘s new film, The French Dispatch.

Her other films at the festival include Ildiko Enyedi’s The Story of My Wife, Bruno Dumont’s France, and Arnaud Desplechin’s film Deception.

An earlier report revealed that the festival is averaging about three coronavirus cases per day and thousands of attendees were being tested daily.
