Following the announcement that Kim‘s KKW Beauty brand is getting a big makeover earlier this week, it’s been revealed that the 44-year-old Ye rapper is involved in that decision.

Despite initial speculation that it had to do with Kim dropping the “W” from the brand’s name, a source tells Page Six that’s not the case.
“Fun little fact, Kanye helped come up with the new name,” the insider told the outlet.
According to WWD, Kanye also helped with the new packaging and formulas for the overhaul, and the Page Six source also confirmed that report.
“It all started with a contour kit and expanded to eyes, lips, body and many incredible collections over the past four years. On August 1st midnight we will be shutting down the kkwbeauty.com site so that we can come back to you under a completely new brand with new formulas that are more modern, innovative and packaged with an elevated and sustainable new look,” Kim wrote on her Instagram earlier in the week.
