Is There a 'Zola' End Credits Scene?

The new indie movie Zola is now in theaters and it’s definitely one of those movies that you’ve gotta see to believe it!

The film is a stranger than fiction saga based on the viral Twitter thread by A’Ziah “Zola” King, which started out by saying, “Y’all wanna hear a story about why me & this bitch here fell out? It’s kind of long but full of suspense.”

Zola (Taylour Paige), a Detroit waitress, strikes up a new friendship with a customer, Stefani (Riley Keough), who seduces her to join a weekend of dancing and partying in Florida. What at first seems like a glamorous trip full of “hoeism” rapidly transforms into a 48-hour journey involving a nameless pimp, an idiot boyfriend, some Tampa gangsters and other unexpected adventures in this wild, see-it-to-believe-it tale.

When the movie ends, the audience is left wanting more of Zola’s story and many viewers probably assume an additional scene is coming.

Unfortunately, there is NO post-credits scene for the movie. We just watch as the car carrying Zola and the others drives away from Tampa.

When the credits are done rolling, we see the words “In loving memory of Charles Gregory Ross.” He was a celebrity hairstylist who worked on the movie and sadly died from COVID-19 back in April 2020.
