We have some sad news for fans of the NBC series Good Girls.
It has been confirmed that NBC has canceled the show after four seasons, though the network will continue airing the remainder of season four.
There’s more bad news for anyone hoping to have the show saved by Netflix or another streamer/network.

The Hollywood Reporter says that “efforts to move the series to Netflix… have imploded and the series will not make the move to the streaming giant as an original series for season five.”
Netflix has been partnering with NBC and Universal Television since the show’s beginning. The streamer has provided some of the show’s production costs in exchange for international rights and SVOD rights, which give it the opportunity to stream the show one year after it airs on NBC.
Deadline also reports that the show “will not be shopped elsewhere by studio Universal Television.” This means that the series is officially over for good.
Good Girls follows suburban moms Beth (Christina Hendricks), Ruby (Retta) and Annie (Mae Whitman) who, at a loss over how to solve their various crippling financial troubles, decide to rob a supermarket in a heist that attracts the attention of a local gang leader, Rio (Manny Montana).
Another popular NBC series was just canceled despite being a hit on Netflix as well.
