A Quiet Place Part II is unstoppable!
The horror flick returned to the top spot at the box office as of Sunday (June 13), THR reported.ee
The movie brought in an estimated $11.7 million in its third weekend at the box office, resulting in a nearly $109 million domestic tally thus far.
The movie also pushed past the debut on In The Heights, which opened to a lower-than-expected $11.4 million, which was previously projected to reach $15 to $20 million.
A Quiet Place II is now the first film in the pandemic era to cross the $100 million mark domestically, having already broken pandemic era records.
Here’s a summary of A Quiet Place Part II: following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.
Perhaps to no surprise, A Quiet Place Part III is officially happening at Paramount! However, John Krasinski will not write or direct this movie. Get the details.
