'Venom 2' Release Date Gets Pushed Back Again

The release date for the Venom sequel has been pushed back again.

It has been announced that Venom: Let There Be Carnage will now be released on September 17 instead of its rescheduled premiere date of June 25, People reports.

This is the second time the release date for Venom 2 has been pushed back because of the Coronavirus pandemic. Originally, Venom: Let There Be Carnage was supposed to be released on October 2, 2020, but it was then pushed back to June 2021.

Andy Serkis is directing the sequel to the 2018 Spider-Man spinoff movie.

Tom Hardy is reprising his role as Eddie Brock, aka Venom, with Woody Harrelson playing the new supervillain Carnage. Michelle Williams will also return in her role.
