Amanda Seyfried is reflecting on her role in Les Miserables.
In conversation with Vanessa Kirby for Variety‘s Actors on Actors, the 35-year-old actress revealed that her role as Cosette is the one she’d like to redo again.
“I wish I could redo Les Miz completely,” Amanda confessed. “Because the whole live singing aspect just — I still have nightmares about it.”
She admits that for that particular performance she didn’t feel she had a voice that was “as strong as it needs to be.”
“I was very weak. I can’t — such a regret!” she added.
Since the movie’s debut in 2012, Amanda has continued to work on her voice so she can “have some kind of stamina, and working on my vibrato, which was just completely lost.”
“I feel like I definitely could play Cosette now,” Amanda declared.
Amanda just recently welcomed her second child with husband Thomas Sadoski.
Here’s what she said about giving birth during a pandemic…
